On January 28, 2026, from 6:30-8pm, Town staff and the Flood Control Board hosted a Flood Recovery Workshop at the Cove School to discuss impacts from the January 2026 tidal and storm surge flooding event and next steps to address flooding. The event was well attended with approximately 80 attendees, many of whom provided comments and/or asked questions during the event. Attendees were also invited to provide feedback through a map activity and a Flood Damage Estimate Form circulated by the Town for several weeks.
