Lower Christmas Tree Hill Virtual Community Workshop #2

The Town of Corte Madera engaged the Christmas Tree Hillside neighborhood on May 14, 2025 from 6:30-8:00 pm via Zoom, to discuss strategies to increase the capacity of the roadway system to facilitate safer and quicker emergency evacuation, and to discuss parking challenges and possible strategies. Thanks to all who joined us and shared their input!

Workshop Objectives were to:

  • Engage with Christmas Tree Hill residents, Town staff, and representatives from Central Marin Fire and Central Marin Police Authority.

  • Share the feedback we’ve heard so far, regulations and safety guidelines, and concept improvements to the Christmas Tree Hill Neighborhood to support safe evacuation.

  • Listen to the ideas, needs and concerns related to proposed improvements.

  • Develop preferred alternatives in partnership with the community to improve the transportation system that Christmas Tree Hill residents will rely on for evacuation egress and parking management.
